TOHATCHI — Travelers on U.S. 491 have been waiting up to 30 minutes and longer to get through construction as rehabilitation of approximately 14 miles of the highway from Twin Lakes to Tohatchi continues.

A spokeswoman from FNF Construction, which is doing the roadwork, said that the project manager is aware of the situation and the crew is working on shortening the wait time for travelers.
