GALLUP — Police arrested a man Saturday after an alleged pizza jacking. Melvin Morgan, 26, faces robbery and aggravated battery charges after he allegedly stole a pizza out of the arms of a delivery person at Gallup Flea Market. It was right around lunch time — about 12:45 p.m. — according to McKinley County Sheriff’s Deputy Merlin Benally’s incident report.

According to the report, Ruthann Nez was carrying one 12-inch pie in a delivery bag when she stopped to buy a few CDs.
