URI moves forward with plans for mines

WINDOW ROCK — If Hydro Resources Inc. were given the go-ahead tomorrow to start in-situ mining of uranium at its property in Churchrock, it still would take two years before production could begin.

However, a recent 10th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling is “an important step” toward the company being able to define its course of action to advance Churchrock toward production, according to Dave Clark, president and CEO of Uranium Resources Inc., parent company of HRI.
