Council wrangles with FY2010 budget
Amendments total nearly $8 million

WINDOW ROCK — The Navajo Nation Council was presented the proposed Fiscal Year 2010 budget of $161 million Tuesday by the Budget and Finance Committee, took a lunch break at noon, and then recessed early.

Wednesday morning, the political maneuvering began.
