Counselor Visit
WINSLOW — Veterans Benefits Counselor Visit will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Sept. 15, at DES Winslow. The ADVS will be helping veterans and their dependents with information about veteran’s benefits and assistance in filing claim. The claimant should bring any pertinent information pertaining to the subject of the visit especially all VA correspondences, DD-214, medical records, marriage license, divorce decree, death certificate, birth certificates, all income award letters, medical expenses, social security cards etc.

Appreciation Day
GALLUP — Ellis Tanner Trading Company is encouraging businesses to participate in a celebration of appreciation for the Gallup Police, McKinley County Sheriff’s, Gallup Fire, and New Mexico State Police. The event will be over the course of a full day on Sept. 15, and will feature a free meal for law enforcement officers, firefighters, staff members in departments and representatives from each participating business and organization.
