GALLUP — Services are pending for Reuben Chee Antonio, 27.
Antonio died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2009, in Gallup. He was born Sept. 16, 1982, in Shiprock, into the Tangle People Clan for the Towering House People Clan.

GRANTS — Funeral Mass for Genoveva Rosabel Romero Garduno, 82, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 1, at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will be in Grants Memorial Park. The Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m., tonight, Sept. 30, at Compassion Mortuary. A rosary will be 7 p.m., tonight, at St. Vivians Catholic Church, Milan.
Garduno died Sept. 28, 2009, in Grants. She was born Aug. 1, 1927, in Nambe.
Garduno was a wonderful mother and loving grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed family, travel and shopping.
Survivors include her daughters, Elsie Garduno, Nolina Garduno of Grants, Stela McKenzie of Tucson, Ramona Chavez of San Rafael, Triny Barajas of San Rafael, Patsy Sandra of Grants, Michael Garduno of Grants, Gilbert Garduno of Denver, Colo.; brother, Arturo Romero of Nambe; sister, Teresita Sandoval of Nambe; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Garduno was preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Garduno; parents, Vidal Romero, Ramona Lopez Romero; son, Larry Garduno; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Martinano Romero, Ramon Romero, Petrolino Romero, Bernardo Romero; sisters, Maria Gomez, Lydia Romero.
Pallbearers will be Dominick Garduno, Romanito Jaramillo, Tina Barajas, Melanie Garcia, Nichole Garduno, Anthony Garduno, David Garduno, Eddie Gonzales Jr.
