Emma Becenti

COYOTE CANYON — Funeral Mass for Emma B. Becenti, 79, will be 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 9, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tohatchi. The Rev. John will officiate. Burial will be in Tohatchi Community Cemetery.

Becenti died Oct. 4, 2009, in Gallup. She was born Aug. 10, 1930, in Tohatchi, into the Folded Arms People Clan for the Meadow People Clan.
Becenti attended the adult education program.

She was employed with Twin Lakes, Chuska and Coyote Canyon Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed weaving, ranching, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Johnson B. Becenti, Bobby F. Becenti Sr., Michael D. Becenti, Alexander B. Becenti, Davejohn Becenti; daughters, Frances Becenti-Shirleson, Theresa Becenti-Aguilar; brother, Albert Brown; 27 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

Becenti was preceded in death by her husband, Francis B. Becenti; parents, Annie Arviso Brown, Lamone Casuse.

Pallbearers will be Jeris B. Becenti, Adam O. Becenti, Brice P. Aguilar, Marvin Becenti, Bobby Becenti Jr, Rayes S. Armstrong.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Tom Fuson

TOLANI LAKE — Services for Tom Fuson, 80, will be 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 9, at family ranch. Burial will be in family plot, Tolani Lake.

Fuson died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, in Winslow. He was born into the Mexican People Clan for the Red Bottom People Clan.

Fuson was a rancher and ranch hand all his life in Idaho and Arizona. He loved ranching, rodeo and loved to watch Bull Riding. He participated in the 50’s and 60’s.

Survivors include his brothers, Billy Fuson of Tolani Lake, Joe Fuson of Dilcon.

Fuson was preceded in death by his father, Whitehair Fuson; mother, Azhan Whitehair Fuson; sisters, Zonnie Yazzie Begay, Zonnie Bahe Begay, Jane Kayonnie; brother, Ben Fuson Sr.

William Richards

GALLUP — Funeral Mass for William George Richards, 69, will be 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 9, at Sacred Heart Cathedral Church, Gallup. The Very Rev. Lawrence J. O’Keefe will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup. A rosary will be 7 p.m., tonight, Oct. 8, at Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Richards died Oct. 5, 2009, in Albuquerque. He was born June 19, 1940, in Gallup.

Richards graduated from Gallup High School. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Prinsipe Luigi Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Bobbie) Richards; sons, Cole Richards of Fort Mohave, Scott Richards of Gallup; daughters, Traci Boatman of Gallup; mother, Josephine C. Richards of Grants; sister, Cammie Coar of Kingman; two grandchildren.

Richards was preceded in death by his father, Bill Richards; sister, Laura Jo Richards.

Pallbearers will be Shane Richards, Shelli Richards.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Sacred Heart Cathedral family center, following services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Diabetes Assoc.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
