Sacred Wind wins $100,000

GALLUP — A New Mexico business serving the Navajo Nation and the surrounding area is the winner of a highly-publicized nationwide contest.

NBC and American Express announced “Sacred Wind Communications” was voted the most inspiring small business in their “Shine a Light” contest on Monday.

The company was awarded a $100,000 grant plus it got national recognition on NBC’s Today Show.

Sacred Wind Communications beat out thousands of other small business from across the county and two other finalists for the grant.
