GALLUP — Rehoboth Christian School student Cheyanne Carlisle could not have been more excited about the Hawaiian group Kupunu and Kumu’s performance at her school’s campus Wednesday morning.

She reviewed the troupe’s skit down to specific detail as she played with the candlewood tree pendant given to her as a momento from the storytellers’ visit.
