GALLUP — Cynthia and Frank Yazzie were up all night looking for bargains. They left home at about 7:30 Thursday evening to shop at Gallup’s Rio West Mall, which was already swarmed with people checking out early-bird sales.

The Yazzie’s, who live in Fort Wingate, shopped Rio West for a few hours before heading back up Highway 66 to go home; that’s when the urge to come back out hit Cynthia.
