GALLUP — Two sides presented their points of view during a debate on issues that are going before Navajo voters in a special election Dec. 15.

The debate on the reduction of the Navajo Nation Council and the line-item veto power for the president was held at the Calvin Hall auditorium at the University of New Mexico-Gallup branch campus Wednesday evening.
