Jail narcotics smuggling attempt fails Copyright © 2009 GALLUP — McKinley County narcotics agents arrested a woman Thursday for allegedly smuggling drugs into McKinley County Adult Detention Center. Margaretta Burbank, 32, of Tohatchi, faces drug distribution charges for allegedly selling heroin and marijuana to an undercover narcotics agent who posed as a jail guard, according to McKinley County Sheriff’s Lt. George Justice. Justice said Burbank attempted to smuggle the drugs to an inmate named Bruce Begay, 31.
