“The people have spoken, like my drill instructor used to say, loud and clear,” said Morris Johnson at the Window Rock Sports Center Tuesday night.

Nearly 61 percent of Navajo voters casting ballots in the special election Tuesday said “yes” to reducing the Navajo Nation Council from 88 delegates to 24 and more than 59 percent voted “yes” to allow the president to exercise line item veto authority.
