WINDOW ROCK — The Intergovernmental Relations Committee passed a resolution approving reallocation of funds so that the Navajo Nation Council can appeal the district court ruling that found it acted out of its authority when it placed President Joe Shirley on administrative leave Oct. 26.

The resolution was sponsored by Delegate Young Jeff Tom, Mariano Lake/Smith Lake, to the committee on Wednesday afternoon.
