GALLUP — State legislators representing McKinley County will travel to Santa Fe on Jan. 19 to make some tough decisions to cover the state’s $650 million budget deficit.

Patricia Lundstrom, D-McKinley and Cibola counties, and one of seven area state legislators, held a news conference Friday to shed some light on what she plans to take to introduce once the 30-day session begins. Lundstrom, of Gallup, said she expects the budget will dominate House and Senate talks.
