Mary Livingston
SPRINGSTEAD Funeral services for Mary
Livingston, 89, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at Cope Memorial
Chapel. Pastor Nathan Lynch will officiate. Burial will follow
at the City Cemetery.
Livingston died May 26 in Gallup. She was born Feb. 18, 1918 in
Springstead into the Tangle Clan for the Bitter Water Clan.
Livingston was a traditional rug weaver specializing in saddle
blankets and storm designs. She also was a homemaker, sheepherder,
and worked for the chapter house in her earlier years.
Survivors include her son, Wilson Livingston of Springstead; and
two grandchildren.
Livingston was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Livingston
and Binziz Bah Livingston; brothers, Sam Y. Livingston, Frank
Livingston, and Tom Livingston; sisters, Rose Harrison and Francis
Billy.
Pallbearers will be Jay Livingston, Milton Livingston, John Livingston,
Alton Livingston, Cleofus Curley, and Nickolas Livingston.
A reception will follow at the Church Rock Chapter following services.
Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
Chavez Beaver
RAMAH Funeral services for Chavez Randy
Beaver will be at 10 a.m. June 1, at the Pinehill Church of the
Nazarene. Frank E. Paul will officiate. Burial will follow in
a private family plot.
Beaver was of the Meadow People Clan for the Tangle People Clan.
Beaver graduated from Ramah High School in 1968, where he lettered
in basketball. He was employed as a Navajo Police Officer, Tribal
Park Ranger, and for Water Projects-NECA. Beaver was a sculptor
and silversmith. He enjoyed native music and spending time with
his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Ruby Ann Beaver; sons, Randall Chavez
Beaver; stepson, Fidel Anthony Apache; daughters, Jerilyn Colleen
Slim, Stephanie Randi Beaver, Shantel Shannel Beaver, Kimberly
Chavez Beaver, and Francine Jewel Beaver; sisters, Annie Chatto
of Ramah, Marie Rose Sage of Phoenix, Nellie B. Pino, Rose Bob,
Amelia Delgerito, Nellie Coho, Helen Pino, Irene Pino, Virginnia
Pino, all of Pinehill; and seven grandchildren.
Beaver was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Pino and George
Beaver; brother, Kelsey Pino; and sister, Mary Ann Pino.
Pallbearers will be Tracey Beaver, Jonas B. Pino, Paul Bob, Carl
Medrano, Jr., Tennyson Pino, and Fidel Apache.
There will be a family meeting at 6 p.m. today, May 30 at the
Ramah Navajo Chapter House.

Michael McGinn
GRANTS Services for Michael B. McGinn,
65, will be announced at a later date.
McGinn died May 28, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born Feb. 12,
1942 in Long Beach, Calif.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Nathan Yazzie
TOHLAKAI Services for Nathan Yazzie will
be announced at a late date.
Yazzie died May 28, 2007 in Tohlakai. He was born Dec. 11, 1985
in Gallup into the Waters Edge People Clan for the Bitter Water
People Clan.

Guy Six
PINE SPRINGS Funeral services for Guy
Six, 86, will be announced at a later date.
Six died May 29 in Gallup. He was born Feb. 15, 1921 in Pine Springs
into the One Who Walks Around Clan for the Big Water People Clan.
There will be a family meeting at 6 p.m. today, May 30 at the
Houck Chapter House and on Thursday, May 31 at the Oak Springs
Chapter House.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
