Daisey Pouges

MILAN — Funeral services for Daisey Ella Pouges, 66, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Milan. Pastor Garland Moore will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Pouges died April 25, in Albuquerque. She was born on January 1, 1941 in Abernathy, Texas.

Pouges was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Pouges, Sr. of Milan; children, Terry Pouges of Albuquerque, James Pouges, Jr., of Dallas, Texas, Michael Pouges of Albuquerque, Dennis Pouges, Joseph Pouges, both of Albuquerque, Stepanie Pouges of Grants, and Josette Copeland of Phoenix,; sister, Emma Carlton of Dallas, Texas; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Pouges is preceded in death by her son, Eddie Glenn Pouges; parents, Harvey and Inous Belle Johnson Lewis; brothers, Harvey Lewis, Jr. and J. L. Lewis.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Pouges, Terry Pouges, Mike Pouges, James Pouges, Jr., Jospeh Pouges, and James Copeland, Sr.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
