Ronald Jones

WINDOW ROCK — Funeral services for Ronald Stanley Jones, 56, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 at the Cope Memorial Chapel. Rev. Hilderbanet will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

Jones died Dec. 13, 2007 in Albuquerque. He was born March 4, 1951 in Ganado into the Charcoal Streak Division People Clan into the Red Running Into Water People Clan.

He graduated from Window Rock High School in 1969 and worked at various construction jobs in New Mexico and Arizona. Jones had his own window cleaning company in Hawaii and Colorado after military services. He served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps in the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Jones of Grover Beach, Calif.; mother, Helen E. Jones of Window Rock; brothers, Paul Jones Jr. of Gamerco, Stewart M. Jones of Gallup, Harold J. Jones of Window Rock; sisters, Helene Grigsby of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pauline Cardenas of Cleveland, Ohio, Cynthia Mendez of Vancouver, Wash., Gerri J. Harrison of Gallup.

Jones was preceded in death by his father, Paul Jones Sr.; brother, Morris Paul Jones.

Pallbearers will be Harold Jones III, Patrick Jones, Joshua Harrison, Dennis Morgan, Benjamin Cardenas.


Emmanuel Agbolosoo

TSAILE — Dr. Emmanuel Kwami Agbolosoo passed away recently. He was born Nov. 5, 1938 in Kedzi, Africa.

Dr. Agbolosoo was admitted to the University of Ghana, Legon where he obtained his B.Sc. (Honors) in Economics in 1972. He worked for the Ghana Cocoa Marketing Board as a Research Officer for three years. Agbolosoo studied at Pennsylvania State University in graduate studies in 1975. He eventually obtained a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Arizona in 1979. In 1986 he came to Dine’ College to teach Economics and Political Science. It was at Dine’ College that he completed his dissertation. He earned his Ph.D. in 1991.


Mary Todd

GALLUP — Services are pending for Mary Jane Todd, 78 of Gallup.

Todd died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 in Gallup. She was born Sept. 22, 1929 in Ramah.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
