Mary Clark
STEAMBOAT Funeral services for Mary Clark, 91, will be
10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at the Ganado Glory Temple Ministries,
Ganado. Pastor Sammy K. Begay and Lita Chee will officiate. Burial
will be in the family plot, Steamboat. Visitation will be one
hour before services, at 9 a.m.
Clark died Dec. 21, 2007, in Ganado. She was born July 1, 1916
in Steamboat into the Water Edge People Clan for the Black Streaked
Forest People Clan.
She was a homemaker and a weaver.
Survivors include her sons, Albert Clark Sr. of Steamboat, Dennis
Clark of Roy, Utah, James Clark of Montgomery, Ill.; daughter,
Mary Ann Yazzie of Steamboat; 26 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren;
17 great-great-grandchildren.
Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clark; three
sisters; three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Ramon T. Etsitty, James C. Basham, Delbert
C. Clark, Jason C. Clark, Aaron B. Clark, and Albert C. Clark
Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Steamboat Chapter
House. Reception will follow after services.
Silver Creek Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

LUPTON Funeral services for Alfred Search
Francisco, 58, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at St. Johns
Catholic Church, Houck. Father Berand Doerger will officiate.
Burial will be in Houck Community Cemetery, Houck. Visitation
will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29.
Francisco died Dec. 24, 2007, in Lupton. He was born Oct. 31,
1949, in Fort Defiance into the One Who Walks Around People Clan
for the Black Sheep People Clan.
Francisco attended Pine Springs, Kinclinchee, Crystal, Intermountain,
and graduated from Fort Wingate School. He was worked at the Heber-Forest
Service, the Railroad, and was a form setter at W.W.C. Contruction.
He was in the U.S. Navy in 1968. His hobbies included playing
basketball, softball, football, doing crossword puzzles, listening
to his favorite songs by the Beatles, Johnny Horton, Merle Haggard
and C.C.R.
Survivors include his wife, Linda B. Francisco; sons, Tyrel Francisco,
Galloway Francisco; daughters, Samantha Brown Francisco, Emily
OBrien, Vashti Francisco; brothers, Jerry Francisco, Donald
Francisco, Larry Bills; sisters, Laura Fowler, Maggie Shirley;
five grandchildren.
Francisco was preceded in death by his parents, Louise Kimble,
Billy Francisco; sisters, Carol Francisco and Bessie Charley.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Tom, Ernest Smith, Carlton Francisco,
Albert Arthur Sr., Julius Arthur and Bill Smith.
The family will receive relatives and friends in Lupton/Houck,
after services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

ROCK POINT, Ariz. Funeral services for Mary Tso Jim, 85,
were 11 a.m. (MST) today, Dec. 28 at the Gods Grace Fellowship
Church, Rock Point. Tom Wilson officiated. Burial was in the family
plot, Rock Point.
Jim died Dec. 23, 2007, in Winslow. She was born July 30, 1922
in Sweetwater, Ariz. into the Folded Arm People Clan for the Tangle
People Clan.
Survivors include her sons, Ben R. Tso, Roy R. Tso; daughters,
Maggie Yazzie, Nancy Jim, Cecelia Begay, Amelia Jim, Cynthia M.
Jim; brother, Peter Jim; sister, Pauline Begay; 26 grandchildren;
21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Franklin Tso Sr.,
David Tso; sister, Awee Taatai Chee; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Bryan R. Tso, Bernard R. Tso, Roy R. Tso
and Mark Suer.
Jolene Smith
GALLUP Services are pending for Jolene Angel Smith, 27.
Smith died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007 in Gallup. She was born April
2, 1980, in Fort Defiance into the Coyote Pass People Clan for
the Bitter Water People Clan.
