Edward Gutschow
MILAN Memorial services for Edward Norman
Gutschow, 74, were 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9 at Compassion Mortuary.
Pastor Taube Jenkins officiated.
Gutschow died Feb. 2 in Milan. He was born Nov. 23, 1932 in Buffalo,
N.Y.
Survivors include children, Dennis Gutschow, Michael Gutschow
and John Gutschow.
Gutschow was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Eleanor Gutschow.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Ruby Jackson
SANDERS, Ariz. Services for Ruby Jean
Jackson, 55, will be at 10 a.m., Feb. 12 at St. Anne's Mission
in Klagetoh. Burial will follow in Wide Ruins.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Jackson died Feb. 6 in Gallup. She was born June 27, 1951 in Manuelito
into the Sleeping Rock People Clan for the Black Sheep People
Clan.
Survivors include her daughter Tazbah Jackson; mother Winfred
Jackson of Gallup; sister Merlitha Jackson of Bozeman, Mont.;
and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Albert Jackson; brothers
Luther Jackson, Larry Jackson, Leonard Jackson, Edison Jackson.
Pallbearers will be El Lee Mustache, Duane Crawford, Lionel Jackson,
Kee Morgan and Milt Shirleson
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Christopher Tietje
GRANTS Services for Christopher Lee Tietje,
18, will be at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 12 at the Potters House in
Grants. Pastor Larry Teshima will officiate. Burial will follow
in Grants Memorial Park.
Tietje died Feb 8 in rural Cibola County. He was born Feb. 10,
1988 in Fort Gordon, Ga.
He was a graduate of Grants High School and a student at the NMSU-Grants
Campus.
Survivors include his mother Tamara Bennett of Grants; stepfather
Ervin Bennett of Grants; father, Gerald Tietje of Ohio; sister
Alyssa Tietje of Grants; grandparents Beth Fiebelkorn and Gary
Emory, both of Las Vegas, Nev., Byron Jenkins, Adrienne Jenkins,
both of Cape Coral, and Janice Tietje of Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Terrence Williams,
Rhoda Phillips and Alfred Bennett.
Pallbearers will be Adrian Farley, Kevin Farley, Tim Teshima,
Lee Salazar, Jeremy Hocker and Sam Griego.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Jimmy John
TWIN LAKES Services for Jimmy Peter John,
61, will be 10 a.m. today, Feb. 10 at Cope Memorial Chapel. Reverends
Dennis Gardner, Jerry Eastridge and Ernest Franklin will officiate.
Burial will follow at Big Oak family cemetery in Twin Lakes.
John died Feb. 6 in Gallup. He was born Nov. 11, 1946 in Twin
Lakes into the Standing Tree People Clan for the Hairy Ones People
Clan.
John attended Ailene Roat, Tohatchi Public Schools and Fort Sill
Indian School. He was employed as a butcher for Navajo Shopping
Center, O.N.E.O., Navajo Engineering and Construction Authority,
NHA and Curman Construction. He was a grazing official from 1992
to present for Twin Lakes Chapter House. His hobbies include country
and western dancing and watching PBR shows. He enjoyed ranching,
farming, reading the Bible and listening to gospel music.
Survivors include wife, Lucy K. John; sons, Olson John, Arliss
John, Edward John, Jaymi John, Raschad John and Ryan John, all
of Twin Lakes; daughters, Rosalie Redgun of Canada, Julianna John,
Claripita John and Natasha John, all off Twin Lakes; mother, Clara
B. John of Twin Lakes; brother, Norman John, II of Yah Ta Hey;
20 grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by father, Peter John; daughter, Francine
John and Vivian John; brother, Ralph John.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mary Delgarito
SMITH LAKE Services for Mary Ann Delgarito,
45, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12 at First Baptist Church. Pastor
Bob Brittian will officiate. Burial will follow at Community Cemetery
in Smith Lake.
Delgarito died Feb. 7 in Albuquerque. She was born June 14, 1961
in Crownpoint into the Towering House People Clan for the Salt
People Clan.
Delgarito attended Thoreau High School. She was a homemaker. She
enjoyed playing volleyball with her family, playing bingo and
karoke with her daughters.
Survivors include husband, Hoston Delgarito of Smith Lake; son,
Kenny Delgarito of Smith Lake; daughters, Monica Delgarito, Michelle
Delgarito and Neona Delgarito, all of Smith Lake; mother, Lilly
Salcido of Smith Lake; brother, Harry Salcido of Smith Lake; sisters,
Marie Thompson, Betty Jones and Charlene Bennett, all of Smith
Lake and Joann Salcido of Thoreau; nine grandchildren.
Delgarito, was preceded in death by father, Charlie Salcido; son,
Shawn D. Delgarito; brother, Thomas Salcido and sister, Abby Salcido.
Pallbearers will be Randell Delgarito, Eric Jones, Donovan Ramone,
Duriel Salcido, Damon Thompson and Lamar Thompson.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Smith Lake Chapter
House after services.
