Henry Billy

BECENTI — Funeral services for Henry J. Billy, 51, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30 at Road Side Baptist Church in Coyote Canyon. Pastor George Jim will officiate. Burial will follow on family land in Coyote Canyon.

Billy died July 26, 2007 in Shiprock. He was born July 1, 1956 in Coyote Canyon into the Bitter Water People Clan for the Red Running into the Water People Clan.

Survivors include his wife, Louita Biggs of Becenti; mother, Annie R. Billie of Coyote Canyon; daughter, Monica J. Johnson of White Rock; step son, Kendall J. Biggs of Becenti; brothers, Harry R. Johnson of Coyote Canyon, Arthur Billy of Coyote Canyon, and Harrison J. Billy of Phoenix; sisters, Janet Bizoti of Coyote Canyon and Sherlyn I. Joe of Coyote Canyon; and two grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Jack Billy.

Pallbearers will be Jodie Tanner, Raymond Begay, Kenneth Joe, Elliot White, Herman Begay, and Nathaniel Johnson.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Bobby Raye Plummer

SHIPROCK — Funeral services for Bobby Raye Plummer, 24, will be at 10 a.m. today, July 28 at Desert View Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rick Begay will officiate. Burial will follow at Shiprock Community cemetery.

Plummer died July 23, 2007 in Shiprock. He was born February 8, 1983 in Shiprock.

Survivors include his parents, Sherry Scott and Robert Plummer of Shiprock; brothers, Shane Yazzie and Ty Yazzie; sisters, Vanessa Longtree and Jennifer Longtree of Shiprock.

Plummer was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Ruby Scott and Hugh M. Plummer.

Pallbearers will be Waylon McKinley, T.J. McKinley, Ronnie McKinley, Patrick McKinley, Craig Hoskie, and Thomas Lucero.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Hogback Chapter House.


Clayton Spencer

TEESTO, Ariz. — Funeral services for Clayton Spencer, 95, will be at 10 a.m. today, July 28 at the Teesto Assembly of God Church in Teesto. Rev. Warren Fuller will officiate. Burial will follow at the family plot in Cedar Springs, Ariz.

Spencer died July 25, 2007 in Flagstaff. He was born July 20 in Cedar Springs.

Spencer served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1946.

Survivors include his sons, Raymond Spencer, Sr., Leo Spencer, Herman Spencer, Ernie Spencer, and Tommy Nez; daughter, Ella Mae Yazzie; brother, Billy John; 25 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Spencer was preceded in death by his parents, Tsinnignie and Bah Spencer; wife, Anne K. Spencer; and son, Amos Spencer.

Pallbearers will be Isiah Joseph Spencer, Derek Leon Spencer, Raymond Spencer, Jr., Earland Lee Spencer, Clyde Samual Spencer, and Marcus Kanuho.

The family will meet at 5 p.m. July 28 at the family residence in Cedar Springs.


Bahe Etsitty

LYBROOK, N.M. — Services for Bahe Etsitty, 98, will be announced at a later date.

Etsitty died July 26, 2007 in Farmington. He was born June 28, 1909 in Mexican Springs.
