Tristin Plummer-John
GALLUP Funeral services for Tristin Joshua
Plummer-John, infant, will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15 at the
Gallup Christian Center. Pastor Tom Payne will officiate. Burial
will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14 at Rollie
Mortuary.
Plummer-John died June 8 in Gallup. He was born March 12, 2007
in Gallup.
Survivors include his parents, Krystal Plummer and Pedro John;
sisters, Shinoah, Alyssa, and Amber John; grandparents, Cornelia
Plummer, Helen Plummer, Louise and Peter John.
Pallbearers will be Calum Plummer, Michael Montano, Nicholas Benally,
and James Phillip Lee.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Rio West Mall
(former Hong Kong Restaurant).
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Raymond Alakia
BORREGO PASS, NM Funeral services for
Raymond Alakia, 50, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15 at the
Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Crownpoint. Pastor
Harry Largo will officiate. Burial will follow at the Crownpoint
Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to services.
Alakia died June 10 in Fort Defiance. He was born October 9, 1956
in Crownpoint into the Bitterwater People Clan for the Folded
Arms People Clan.
Alakia attended Crownpoint High School. He worked for the railroad
and herded sheep. Alakia was a member of So-le-ye-yah (Star Pond)
Church. His hobbies included traveling, going to church, herding
sheep, working, helping and talking to people.
Survivors include his sister, Isabelle Johnson of Borrego Pass,
NM; and one grandchild.
Alakia was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Adakai and
Lois Platero Gruber.
Pallbearers will be Benson Perry, Eddie Brown, Vincent Perry,
Elvis Delgarito, Edison Gruber, and Steven Perry, Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Crownpoint
Chapter House.
Cope Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
Nelson Platero
TOHAJIILEE Services for Nelson Platero,
77, will be announced at a later date.
Platero died June 12 in Albuquerque. He was born November 10,
1930 in Borrego Pass into the Zia Clan for the Water Edge Clan.
There will be a family meeting at 6 p.m. today, June 14 at the
Tohajiilee Chapter House.
