Ramon Gomez
GALLUP A Rosary and services for Ramon
C. Gomez, 60, will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 8 at St.
Francis Church in Gallup. Father Lalo will officiate. Burial will
be at a later date at Sunset Cemetery.
Gomez died March 5 in Gallup. He was born July 9, 1946 in Julimes,
Chihuahua, Mexico.
He worked at the Gallup Housing Authority.
Survivors include his sons Raymond Baca, Lawrence Gomez; daughters
Isabell Teran, Victoria Gomez; brother Rogelio Gomez; sisters
Librada Gomez, Antonia Gomez, Guadalupe Gomez, Juana Gomez; 11
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Gomez was preceded in death by Mary Lou Gomez.
Pallbearers will be Telesforo Gomez, Constanza Carrasco, Monica
Gomez, Constanza Gomez, Guadalupe Gomez, Telesforo Gomez Jr.,
and Manuel Gomez.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 625 North Third
Street in Gallup following services.

Nicholas Bill
CHURCH ROCK Services for Nicholas Y.
Bill, 26, will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, March at 8 Cope Memorial
Chapel in Gallup. Troy A. Platero will officiate. Burial will
follow at the Gallup City Cemetery.
Bill died March 2 in Church Rock. He was born August 16, 1980
in Fort Defiance.
Bill went to school in Navajo and was a self-employed silversmith.
His hobbies included fishing, skateboarding, taking walks, playing
guitar, traveling, swimming, cooking, reading and playing chess.
Survivors include his wife Abigail Bill of Church Rock; sons Devin
Denzel Bill, Ivan Trevor Bill, Travis Cayden Bill; parents Kenneth
Bill of Gallup, Sandra Rascon of Phoenix; brothers Shane Johnson,
Gilberto Rascon Jr., both of Phoenix, Shawn Bill, Preston Bill,
Quintan Bill, all of Gallup, Dwayne Chambers of Window Rock; sisters
Tamela James, Ashley Morrison of Phoenix, Shawna Jean Bill of
Gallup; grandparent Marg Chambers of Window Rock.
Bill was preceded in death by his grandfather Roger James and
brother Manuel Bill Jr.
Pallbearers will be Steven Bill, Emerson Bill, Shawn Bill, Kenneth
Bill, Preston Bill and Lorenzo Bill.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Church of
God in Gamerco following services.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Carlos Lucero
CUBERO Services for Carlos Gene Lucero
Sr., 69, will be at 9 a.m., Friday, March 9 at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Road, NW, in Albuquerque. Burial
will follow at 2 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa
Fe.
A Rosary will be at 8 p.m., Thursday, March 8 at Our Lady of Guadalupe
Church.
Lucero died March 2 in Cubero. He was born April 21, 1937 in San
Antonito, N.M. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife Marie Garcia Lucero of Cubero; mother
Esther Stogden of Los Angeles; children Carlos Lucero Jr., of
Ione, Calif., Brenda Locklear of Phoenix, Edwin Lucero, Wendy
Lucero, both of Lancaster, Calif., Elmer Lucero of Corona, Calif,
Anthony Talamantes of Lakewood, Calif., Debbie Brown of Surprise,
Ariz., Sandy Lucero, Wendy Gonzales, both of Cubero; sisters,
Priscilla Stogden, Dorothy Salazar, both of Los Angeles; brother
Jimmy Stodgen of Georgia; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Lucero, Elmer Lucero, Danny Lucero,
Henry Garcia, Jim Garcia and Lawrence Forsberg.
Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Sarah Beyal
CHURCHROCK Services for Sarah B. Beyal,
76, will be announced at a later date.
Beyal died March 5 in Gallup. She was born Dec. 28, 1930 in Springstead,
N.M. into the Gray Streaked Ends People Clan for the Two Who Came
To The Water People Clan.
