Michael Wagner
MANY FARMS Services for Michael Brian
Wagner, 35, will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2007, at
the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Sr. Christa McGill, SBS will
officiate. Burial will be in Many Farms, Ariz.
Wagner died March 08, 2007 in Burnside, Ariz. He was born September
3, 1971 in Fort Defiance, Ariz. into the Near the Waters Edge
People Clan for the Red Bottom People Clan.
Wagner attended Many Farms Elementary, Chinle Junior High School,
and Many Farms High School. His employers included B & B Plumbing,
Dial, Inc., Zachery Construction, Western Industrial, NECA, and
NHA. He worked in various trades including electrial, carpenting,
and plumbing.
Survivors include his wife Rachelle Wagner, sons; Bryan Michael
Wagner, Sheldon Daniel Wagner, Aaron Don Wagner; daughter, Michelle
Lynn Wagner.
Wagner was preceded in death by his parents; Kee Bahe and Geneva
Wagner, and his grandparents; Wallace and Jeannette Holtsoi.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Holtsoi, Donald Tso, Jr., Jonathan
Olson, Elton Arthur, Leroy Towne, Jr., and Wallace Holtsoi III.
The family will meet at St. Anthony following the funeral for
a reception.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Ophelia Morris
NASCHITTI Services for Ophelia C. Morris,
73, will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 12 at St. Mary's Catholic Church
in Tohatchi. Father John Mittlestadt will officiate. Burial will
follow at Naschitti Community Cemetery.
Morris died March 7 in Naschitti. She was born Nov. 13, 1933 in
Chinle into the Bead People Clan for the Towering House People
Clan.
Morris attended Chinle Public School and High School in Anadarko,
Okla. She went to college in Anadarko, Okla. receiving her LPN
degree. She was employed with IHS in Fort Defiance for 35 years.
Her hobbies include playing bingo, crocheting, watching western
movies and being with her grandchildren.
Survivors include husband, Steven A. Morris of Naschitti; sons,
Garrett Morris and Gabriel Morris, both of Naschitti; Garry Morris
of Mexican Springs; Garrison Morris of Farmington; daughters,
Glorita Morris and Gloriana Morris of Naschitti; Gloria Nelson
of Montezuma Creek, Utah; brother, Samuel Sanishya, Jr. of Phoenix;
sisters, Geneva Morris of Naschitti, and Priscilla Harvey of Lukaichukai;
15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Morris was preceded in death by parents Samueal and Gertrude Sanishya;
brothers Donald and Ernest Sanishya; sisters Loretta Lane, Charlotte
Sanishya, Saraphina Owens; and grandson Timothy Hoskie. Pallbearers
will be Garry Morris, Ernest Sanishya, Jr., Kevin Owens, Edgar
Owens, Lorenzo Lapahie, and Garrison Morris.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Naschitti Chapter.
Rollie Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
Pauline Rios
ALBUQUERQUE A rosary and service for
Pauline Angel Rios, 58, of Las Cruces, will 7 p.m. on Monday,
March 12, and Tuesday, March 13, at the Baca Funeral Home in Las
Cruces.
Rios died March 8 in Las Cruces. She was born April 2, 1949 in
Albuquerque. She worked for the Las Cruces Sun News and her hobbies
included arts, crafts, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Oscar Angel, Jr., Michael Angel, Chris
Angel, all of Las Cruces; daughter Kimberly Duran of Las Cruces;
parents Onesimo Rios of Gallup, Lucy Tellez of Las Cruces; brothers
Robert Rios of Gallup, Rudy Rios of Phoenix; sisters Lucy Moorhead
of Penalta, N.M., Helen Burke, Jeannie Teran, Marie Koike, all
of Gallup and seven grandchildren
Lyndon Johnson
SMITH LAKE Services for Lyndon Oscar
Johnson, 33, will be at 9 a.m., Monday, March 12 at Our Lady of
the Blessed Sacrament. Father Gilbert Schneider, OFM, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the family plot in Fort Defiance.
A Rosary will be recited one hour before services at 9 a.m., Monday
at the church.
Johnson died March 4 in Gallup. He was born Nov. 14, 1973 in Fort
Defiance into the Big Water People Clan for the Edge Water People
Clan.
He enjoyed arts, crafts, rodeos, sports, fishing, hiking, housing
construction, horseback riding, and visiting relatives.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl Cleveland of Smith Lake; parents
Benny Oscar Johnson of Round Rock, Ariz., Jennie Chischilly of
Fort Defiance; sons Cody Oscar Johnson, Austin Lane Johnson, Justin
Oscar Johnson, all of Smith Lake, Kyle Oscar Johnson, Lyndon Oscar
Johnson, both of Logan, Utah; daughters Shania Ann Johnson, Shanelle
Ann Johnson, Mariah Ann Johnson, all of Smith Lake, Benessa A.
Johnson of Lake Valley, N.M.; brothers Duane Oscar Johnson of
Kayenta, Benson Oscar Johnson of Fort Defiance, Bernardo O. Johnson,
Benedict O. Johnson, both of Church Rock.
He was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Oscar Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Manual Cadman, Ellison Chee, Loren Chee, Clayton
Johnson, Duane Johnson, and Raymond Yazzie Jr.
