Nasbah Lambson
VANDERWAGEN Services for Nasbah Skeet
Lambson, 88, were at 10 a.m., today, March 17 at the Pine Tree
Mission in Vanderwagen. Joe M. Lee officiated. Burial followed
at the Pine Tree Cemetery.
Lambson died March 13 in Gallup. Shee was born May 15, 1918 in
Vanderwagen into the Salt Water People Clan.
Lambson was a homemaker and enjoyed being around famliy and friends,
going to church, reading her bible and making beads.
Survivors include her sons Bennette George, Benson George, both
of Albuquerque, Ffloyd George of Belen, Justin George of Vanderwagen;
daughters Mary T. Skeet of Cousins, Katherine Long of Phoenix,
Laura Johnson of Twin Lakes, N.M., Bertha Spencer of Window Rock,
Pauline Grey, Elsie Ralphelito, both of Jones Ranch, Rose Ralphelito
of Pine Hill; brother Lambert Chee of Breadsprings; 50 grandchildren
and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chee Lambson; parents
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Skeet; brothers Ben George, Jesse Tom, Albert
Tom; sisters Annabell Benally, Nesbah Skeet, Bertha Lorenzo.
Pallbearers will be Bennette George, Timothy Skeet, Johnny Johnson
Jr., Jonathan Johnson, Tolbert Ralphelito and Benson George.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Winnie Davis
LUKACHUKAI Services for Winnie Rita Davis,
82, will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 20 at St. Isabelle Catholic
Mission in Lukachukai. Burial will follow in the Lukachukai Community
Cemetery.
Davis was born Oct. 1, 1925 in Lukachukai.
Survivors include her husband Billy Davis; sons, Michael Davis,
Herbert Davis, both of Lukachukai, Fred Davis of Farmington, Ernest
Davis of Glendale, Chris Harvey of McNary, Ariz.; daughters Loretta
McCann of Flagstaff, Agnes Joe, Darlee Davis, Elizabeth Davis,
Maxine James, all of Lukachukai, Tina James, Yvonne Begay-Bluehorse,
both of Window Rock, Gwen Harvey of Provo, Utah; brothers John
C. Smith of Lukachukai, Tom Smith of Shiprock; sisters Amelda
Shay of Lukachukai, Etta Yazzie of Sweetwater, Ariz., 33 grandchildren,
22 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Mable Begay and six
grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Billy Davis'
residence after services.
Tse Bonito Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
