Franklin Davis

GALLUP — Graveside services for Franklin B. Davis, 83, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 22 at Rollie Mortuary. Pastor Gladstone W. Simmons will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Davis died May 16 in Albuquerque. He was born May 15, 1924 in Lupton into the Black Sheep Clan for the Bitter Water Clan.

Davis attended Sanders High School and Phoenix Indian School. He was employed with the Railroad and P&M Mining Co.

Survivors include his sons Frankie Davis of Blackhat and Raymond Davis of Gallup; daughters, Emily Chee of Vanderwagon, Lorraine Davis-Abeita of Blackhat, and Richelle Lee Davis of Gallup; brothers, Sam Blackgoat of Lupton, Raymond Blackgoat of Shiprock, and Wilson Blackgoat of Blackhat; sisters, Alice R. Blackgoat of Tse Bonito, Ella Perez of Sedona, Ariz., Verna Henry of Lupton, Elouise Blackgoat of Gallup, Bernice Clayton of Chubbuck, Idaho, and Sherry Richards of Vanderwagon; 18 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Annie B. Davis; parents, Mose Blackgoat and Ya Dee Bah; brothers, Ben Blackgoat and Nelson Blackgoat.

Pallbearers will be Paul Yellowhorse, Roy Gene Blackgoat, Jeffrey Watson, Alvin Sylversmythe, Brian Chee, and Dwayne Tsinnijinnie.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Fannie Bolin

Memorial services for Fannie M. Bolin, 67, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Defiance. Father Gilbert Schneider will officiate.

Funeral services have taken place May 9 in Dallas, Texas.

Bolin died May 5 in Dallas, Texas. She was born July 12, 1939 in Ft. Defiance.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Bolin; daughters, Sondra J. Soto and Sheryl Bolin; father, Joseph Price; brothers, Herman Price, Melvin Price, and Lionel Price; sisters, Arlene Hickson, Kathleen Arviso, and Vangie Price; and three grandchildren.

Bolin was preceded in death by her son, Philbert Price; mother, Irene Price; brother, Manuel Price; sister, Annie Francisco; and grandparents, Margaret and Fred Price.


Ruben Natan

PINE HILL — Memorial services for Ruben Abel Natan, 25, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22 at the Lineage of Faith Chapel in Pine Hill, NM. Anthony Beaver will officiate. Burial will be in a family plot in Pine Hill.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30, today, May 21.

Natan was born January 26, 1982 in Zuni.

Survivors include his parents, Tony and Joan Archer of Pine Hill; brothers, Ferbe Beaver and Ethan Beaver both of Pine Hill; sisters, Lesiastes Beaver and Ernita Beaver both of Pine Hill; grandparents, Charlie Beaver and Mary Natan both of Pine Hill.

Natan was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Natan; grandmother, Julia Beaver; great-grandparents Mae Coho and John M. Beaver.

Pallbearers will be Lester Beaver, Patrus Cohoe, Resendez Beaver, Jeremy Natan, Jerome Natan, and Sanandro Natan.

Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.


Celia Ray

GALLUP — Services for Celia Ray, 82, will be announced at a later date.

Ray died May 19 in Gallup. She was born July 13, 1924.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Alfredo Gallegos

GRANTS — Services for Alfredo Gallegos, 73, will be announced at a later date.

Gallegos died May 20 in Grants. He was born May 16, 1934.

Compassion Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
