Police and emergency personnel were dispatched to the 1900 Block of Mossman Avenue at 3:50 p.m. in reference to the incident. The victim was identified as Celia Ray, of Gallup, according to spokeswoman for the Gallup Police Department Erin Toadlena-Pablo.

A medical investigator from the Office of the Medical Examiner also responded to the call; however, no foul play is suspected in Ray's death.

Shots ring out
Neighbors reported hearing shots fired at the 400 Block of Wagon Road on Sunday afternoon.

Toadlena-Pablo said police arrived in the area at 4:42 p.m. and searched the location, but found no suspects. No injuries or property damage was immediately reported.

Toadlena-Pablo said the weekend was relatively quiet and no major incidents were reported.

"For a graduation weekend, it was very slow," she said.
