Fred Elkins

MILAN — Funeral services for Fred Vernon Elkins, 67, will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at the Prewitt Bi-County Fair Grounds. Burial will follow at the Elkins Family Cemetery in Prewitt. Pastor Clyde Clark will officiate.

Elkins died Oct. 3, 2007 in Milan. He was born Sept. 14, 1940 in Prewitt.

Elkins was self employed as a rancher and in real estate.

Survivors include sons, Troy Elkins of Socorro, Carl Elkins of Milan; daughter, Dawn Elins of Socorro; brothers, D.J. Elkins of Farmington, Buddy Elkins of Grants, Dave Elkins of Gallup; sister, Mildred Elkins of Albuquerque; three grandchildren.

Elkins is preceded in death by parents, Thomas L. Elkins Sr., Josephine Maude Elkins; brothers, Lawrence Elkins, Jack Elkins, Keith Elkins, Kin Elkins; sister, Kattie Bell Elkins.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Elkins, Ronnie Elkins, Johnny Elkins, Jackie Elkins, Pat Swan, Dick Elkins.


Julia Devlin

GALLUP — Services for Julia Marie Delvin, 94, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7 at Rollie Palm Chapel. Father Don Richardson will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Gallup.

Devlin died Oct. 3, 2007 in Gallup. She was born Dec. 24, 1912 in Navajo.

Survivors include sons, Edward Devlin of Taos, N.M., Gene Devlin of Goodyear, Ariz., Tom Devlin of Gamerco; daughters, Mary Ellen Coakley of Apopka, Fla., Deanna Rengstoff of Seoul, Korea, Judy Devlin of Albuquerque, Valerie Hren of Madeira Beach, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Devlin was preceded in death by her husband, C. Frank Devlin; father, Paul Borra Sr.; mother, Maria Borra; daughters, Carole Devlin, Linda Marie Devlin; son, Frankie Devlin; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bergman, Shane Palmer, Tom Witkowski, Jerico Devlin, Devlin Borra, Levi Hren, Ian Devlin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor.

Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
