Travis Coulston
GALLUP Funeral services for Travis Don Coulston, 17, will
be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Rollie Mortuary. Sister Terry
Goodwin will officiate. Burial will follow at Gallup City Cemetery.
Coulston died Sept. 2, 2007 in Gallup. He was born July 11, 1990
in Gallup into the Water Flows Together People Clan.
Coulston attended Juan De Onate and Sanders Schools. He enjoyed
skateboarding and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Regina Martinez of Gallup; sister,
Kaitlynn Martinez; and grandmother, Emma Pettigrew of Lupton.
Coulston was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Yazzie;
great-grandfather, Joe Dayea; and Mary Cleveland.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Nez, Zack Conley, Gerald Toadacheenie,
Jeremey Toadacheenie, Sterling Martinez, and Stevenson Garcia.
The family will receive relatives and friends at 1200 E. Aztec.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mary Lou Macias
GRANTS Funeral services for Mary Lou Macias, 54, will
be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic
Church. Very Rev. Alberto Avella will officiate. Burial will follow
at Grants Memorial Park.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at St. Teresa
of Avila Catholic Church.
Macias died Sept. 5, 2007 in Grants. She was born May 19, 1953
in Grants.
Survivors include her sisters, Josephine Macias-Chavez of Grants
and Carmen Lopez of Albuquerque; brothers, Ray Macias of Grants
and Ernest Macias of Grants.
Macias was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Macias
and Esther Chavez Macias; sister, Mary Nanez; and brother, Eloy
Macias.
Pallbearers will be Ray Macias, Jr., Bobby Macias, Pete Lopez
Jr., David Quintana, Kenneth Lopez, and Patrick Quintana.
Hewitt Francisco
ROCK SPRINGS Funeral services for Hewitt James Francisco,
36, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Rollie Mortuary Chapel.
Bobby Boyd will officiate. Burial will follow at Rehoboth Mission
cemetery.
Francisco died Sept. 2, 2007 in Flagstaff. He was born January
11, 1971 in Rehoboth into the Weaver People Clan for the Meadow
People Clan.
Francisco graduated from Gallup High School. He was an electrician
and enjoyed reading, music, and attending camp meetings.
Survivors include his parents, Joe Francisco of Rock Springs
and Ethel Damon Francisco of Rock Springs; Arvid Francisco of
Tohatchi, Casey Francisco of Tuba City, Duane Francisco of Yatahey,
and Fitzjose Francisco of Las Cruces; and sister, Barberita Murphy
of Las Cruces.
Francisco was preceded in death by his brother, Gustavas J. Francisco.
Pallbearers will be Duane Francisco, Owein Murphy, Johnathan
Sherman, Arvis Francisco, Lasery Murphy, and Ken Henry Realbird.
Rollie Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Helen Leal
GALLUP Longtime Gallup resident Helen Lean, 83 died on
Aug. 29. There will be no services. She will be cremated.
Leal was born Dec. 10, 1923 in Brussels, Belguim.
Leal was preceded in death by her husband, Primo Leal.
Leal She came to the U.S. as a war bride in 1945, after the war.
