UNM Concert

Tax Workshop

GALLUP — Small business development center is co-sponsoring a workshop with the N.M. State Tax and Revenue Department. The CRS-1 Tax workshop will he 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Gallup Chamber of Commerce Code Talkers Room. Covers basic taxes and how to file reports properly to avoid penalties. Stadium supervision

GALLUP — Effective immediately, Gallup High School and Miyamura High School are requiring that any child under the age of 14 be accompanies and supervised by a parent when attending a GHS or MHS sporting event at Public School Stadium. The safety and comfort of our spectators and fans is our intent and concern.

Free Tutoring

GALLUP — Gallup-McKinley County School students may be eligible to receive free tutoring under the Title 1 Supplemental Education Services (SES), part of the No Child Left Behind Act. Free tutoring will occur outside of the regular school day. Info call 721-1039.
