Spaghetti Dinner

Cibola National Forest, Grasslands to waive fees for 2 days

National Forest and Grasslands will join the National Park Service and other federal agencies in celebrating National Public Lands Days, on Sept. 27-28, by waiving day-use and camping fees. This effort is to encourage visits to our nation’s national forests and grasslands as well as Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, and the Army Corps of Engineers managed lands. All recreation fees on the Sandia Ranger District — except group reservation sites — will be waived Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 27 and 28. Picnic areas abound on the Sandia Ranger District. Also, on Sept. 27 and 28. All overnight camping fees will be waived at all campgrounds on the Cibola National Forest.
