Free Concert
GALLUP Music revivalist
Mark Gardner and Rex Rideout will celebrate Songs of the
Cowboys a free concert at 7 p.m., Sept. 26, at the Gallup
Performing Arts Center, 1500 S. 2nd St. Concert will feature music
collected by Nathan H. Jack Thorp and his 1908 publication,
Songs of the Cowboys. Public is invited.

Trials to Triumphs
GALLUP Women of
First Baptist Church invite you to attend our womens conference
From Trials to Triumphs on Oct. 17-18 at the church. Will begin
with fellowship and dinner on Friday, at 5:30 p.m., followed by
a time of praise, worship and activities promoting personal growth
ending at 9:30 p.m. Conference will resume 7:30 a.m. Saturday
with breakfast, continuing with format of Friday evening and will
continue through lunch, ending at 1:30 p.m. Charges will be $35
for each women. Childcare provided only if requested, $15 for
each child in attendance. Will cover childs meals. Activities
not planned for children. Deadline for registration is Oct. 14.

assistance for those that have earned at least $800 in income
from selling or caring for livestock (bills of sales, receipts,
or applicant statement). Eligible livestock are cattle and sheep
only. Individuals who have earned income form Farming and/or landscaping
