Gas station tops Gallup building Copyright © 2008 GALLUP There seems to be a residential addition craze in Gallup right now. The Regulation and Licensing Department of New Mexico issued 16 permits in October around the city for residential additions and alterations, bringing the total this year to 41. For October, the value of the additions was $143,050. The vast majority of the permits were for roofing work. Gallup Roofing, listed as the contractor in nine of the 16 permits, seems to be the main beneficiary from the high winds in early October.. On East Highway 66, D&H Pump Service will be building a new commercial building, a gasoline station, for Lowes Uptown Plaza. That job is valued at $353,903. The department also issued five commercial addition and alteration permits in October that were valued at $214,000. Louise and Richard Duran were granted a residential site permit valued at $14,000. The address is 311 West Green Ave. |
