Sheriff asks for help locating burglary items By Helen Davis BLUEWATER VILLAGE The Cibola County Sheriffs Department is asking citizens to be on the lookout for articles taken in a county burglary last week. The articles were taken from a home in Bluewater Village between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Feb. 26. Thieves attempted to break down the front door, then broke a window in the rear of the home and gained entry by opening an adjacent door. Lt. Harry Hall of the sheriffs office said investigators obtained evidence including finger prints lifted from abandoned wine bottles at the scene. Items taken include:
A white poodle dog was also reported missing from the home. The owner of the stolen items is offering a reward for any information leading to the arrest of individuals responsible for the theft. Anyone who has seen any of these items or suspicious activity in the village should contact the Cibola County Sheriffs office at 287-9476, or 876-5485 for faxes. To remain anonymous, contact the Cibola County Crime Stoppers at 287-8400. Crime Stoppers tipsters may be eligible for a reward. |
