Veterans Meeting
RED LAKE – A regular veterans meeting
will be at the Red Lake Chapter House in Navajo on Sunday, at
5 p.m., The meeting is to plan the use of the Veterans Trust Fund
appropriation. Information: 928-871-3539.
Government Svs. Mtg.
WINDOW ROCK – There will be a special
meeting of the Government Services Committee of the Navajo Nation
Council Monday at 9 a.m., in the north conference room of the
Navajo Nation Chambers. Discussion items are travel policy requirements
and reimbursement.
Bingo
TWIN LAKES – A Bingo fundraiser will
be Saturday, at 5:30 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Elementary School
Cafeteria.
The money will be used for Ms. Long’s
2nd grade class field trip.
BACA CHAPTER – There will be a Bingo
tournament on Saturday, 5 p.m. at the Baca Chapter House. It is
being sponsored by Thompson and Thomas.

SAWMILL – There will be a Planning
Chapter Meeting for the Sawmill Chapter on Thursday, April 3 at

Birdhouse Project
GALLUP – The Ups and Downs team of the Gallup/Mckinley Relay
for Life is calling for help from the artist, community members,
businesses and organizations to take part in the Birdhouse Project.
Basic wooden birdhouses will be provided to all participants,
who are asked to decorate, reinvent, repurpose, embellish or change.
The birdhouses will be on public display after April 18 and will
be auctioned off during the May Arts Crawl. Procedes will go to
American Cancer Society and the goal is $100,000. Information:
