Mentmore family seeks missing man

By Independent staff

GALLUP — A Mentmore man’s family is concerned that they have not seen him since Monday afternoon.

Malina Lee, 37, of Mentmore was last seen Monday afternoon walking on Mission Street toward the Larry Brian Mitchell Recreation Center.

“He said he was going for a walk, and then he never came back,” Lee’s sister said. “We’re just very worried that no one has seen him.”

He is about 140 pounds and 5 feet 3 inches tall. Family members said Lee has a distinctive mole on the left side of his face just above his lip.

Family members filed a missing person report with the Gallup Police Department.

Lee’s family is asking for Lee or anyone who has seen him since Monday to contact the police department, or contact his family at (505) 870-3050 or (505) 722-7415.
