Birdhouses raise $5,600
for Relay for Life

This lion is actually a hand-decorated birdhouse and was part of the Relay for Life birdhouse auction held Saturday evening to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The creation fetched $430. Coordinator Linda Shelton, said the event was such a success that residents have already volunteered their services for next year.
