Gallup Police looking for robbers who pistol-whipped manager

GALLUP — Police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed Applebee’s restaurant at gunpoint Thursday.

A manager was walking to his car about 1:10 a.m. when two Hispanic men approached brandishing guns, according to Gallup Police Lt. Rick White. The so-far unknown robbers demanded that the manager unlock the door. Once inside, the men stole an unknown amount of cash and pistol-whipped the manager. They forced the manager back to his car and drove him to an undisclosed location, where they subsequently fled on foot.
