GALLUP — John Talamante, a suspect in the area’s latest murder, turned himself in at the McKinley County Adult Detention Center Monday afternoon after a week on the lamb.

Talamante was accompanied by no one, not even his Albuquerque attorney Dennis W. Montoya when he surrendered to guards at 12:34 p.m.
