Fundamental Law repeal could have huge impact

WINDOW ROCK — The repeal of the Diné Fundamental Law could affect several of the most important laws passed by the Navajo Nation in recent years, according to a review released by the Diné Policy Institute.

Laws such as the Diné Marriage Act, Diné Natural Resources Protection Act and the Navajo Sovereignty in Education Act may be affected with the repeal of the law, the Diné Policy Institute stated.
