PINEDALE — Services are pending for Alice W. Largo, 66.
Largo died July 21, 2009, in Albuquerque. She was born April 22, 1943, in Rehoboth.
A family gathering will be 5 p.m., tonight, July 24, at Pinedale Chapter. Friends and relatives are encouraged to attend.
Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Funeral services for Juanita Kay Martine, 37, will be 10 a.m., Saturday, July 25, at Sandmountain Church of the Nazarene, Ramah. Darrell Pino will officiate. Burial will be in family plot, Ramah.
Martine was born Sept. 20, 1971, in Gallup, into the Bitterwater People Clan for the Churra Couhe Apache/Jemez Pueblo People Clan.
Martine graduated from Pine Hill High School and attended Western New Mexico University and Nazarene Bible College. Seminary-Illiff School of Theology. She worked as an accountant in Casa Grande, Ariz., Window Rock, McKinley County and Denver, Colo. She also worked as an assistant to the Superintent at Pine Hill Schools.
Martine represented WNMU as Miss Indian Western NMU. Her hobbies included traveling.
Survivors include her father, Joseph K. Martine of Ramah; brothers, Willis Martine, Cunningham Martine, Douglas K. Martine, all of Ramah; sisters, Phoebe Gremley of Cochiti Pueblo, Ella K. Martine of Ramah, Pearl K. Martine of Colorado Springs, Prudencia Martine of Ramah, Victoria Bowers of Loveland, Colo.
Martine was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen M. Martine; grandfathers, Sam Martinez, Kay Chee Martine.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Ramah Navajo Chapter,, Mountain View.
