GALLUP — An alleged drunken driver ran over two wheelchair-bound adults Wednesday, killing one man and injuring one woman.

The man and woman were engaged to be married and had announced their engagement during a Bible study service just minutes before they were run over, according to Arnold Morales, a friend who attended the service.
