WINDOW ROCK — The Navajo Tax Commission collected nearly $29.5 million in taxes during the third quarter of fiscal year 2009. The third quarter is April 1 to June 30.

That number is slightly down from last fiscal year’s third quarter collection, which was just over $30 million.
