Chili Cook off

CROWNPOINT — Eastern Navajo Fair Chili Cook Off will be 9 a.m., July 31, at Crownpoint Fairgrounds. Entry is free and limited to 20 contestants. Food handlers permit is required. Bring Hope

GALLUP — For the first time, World Vision’s Rural Poverty Initiative will help struggling cities in the United States. Centerville Community Church, in collaboration with Cornerstone Ministries and World Vision will give hands-on help in different initiatives. Fall Enrollment

GALLUP — Fall enrollment is under way at UNM-Gallup. This is the first year at UNM-Gallup that the college has set an admissions application deadline. The deadline is Aug. 19. Any applications received after will be subject to a $50 late fee. Classes start Aug. 24. Info call 505-863-7500. All new students should make an appointment with an advisor prior to enrolling.
