RED ROCK — Funeral services for Emerson Joe Livingston, 45, will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Rehoboth Christian Center. Arthur J. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Rehoboth Mission Cemetery, Rehoboth.
Livingston died Aug. 4, 2009, in Red Rock. He was born Feb. 22, 1964, in Gallup, into the Gray Streaked-Ends People Clan for the Red Running Into the Water People Clan.
Livingston attended Churchrock Elementary, Wingate Elementary, Gallup High, and graduated from Wingate High School. Livingston worked various construction jobs with Acero International Railroad Inc., Fuhs Construction, Cam-net Cabling services and Best Western Inn. Livingston loved to spend time with his family, especially with his wife and children. He was a loving and kind person. He helped other with all he could and liked to work on Automobiles. Livingston enjoyed going to rodeos and watching his favorite event, bull riding.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine A. Livingston; sons, Joshua Livingston of Churchrock, Jacob E. Livingston of Red Rock, Emeril J. Livingston of Red Rock; step-son, Brandon C. Brown of Gallup; daughter, Amber S. Livingston of Red Rock; mother, Elsie Peshlakai of Churchrock; brothers, Andy Peshlakai of Albuquerque, Jensen Peshlakai of Oklahoma, Anderson Peshlakai of Churchrock; sisters, Gloria Peshlakai of San Angelo, Texas, Rita Kinsel of Breadsprings, Melissa Paul of Phoenix.
Livingston was preceded in death by his father, Joe Livingston; brother, Raymond J. Livingston; grandparents, Tom White Jr., Bah Yazzie Rice White.
Pallbearers will be Dean Brown, Lee Brown, Damon Brown.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Churchrock Chapter House, following services.
