Police net $1.3 millionin drugs at I-40 port

GALLUP — Motor Transportation Police at the port of entry west of Gallup have nabbed two more truck drivers who were allegedly transporting dope worth more than $1.3 million.

Police confiscated about 960 pounds of marijuana Aug. 8 from driver Luke Williams, 49, of Decatur, Ga., according to a news release issued Tuesday by Department of Public Safety spokesman Lt. Eric Garcia.
