Drunk kills teens

YATAHEY — Police say an alleged drunken driver ran over two teenage girls north of Gallup Friday morning.

One girl — aged between 14 and 17 — died instantly. Paramedics rushed the other girl — aged between 18 and 21 — to Gallup Indian Medical Center, where she died a few hours later, according to Assistant District Attorney Alex Beattie.
