GALLUP — Funeral services for Isaac “Ike” Frazier, 61, will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 25, at St. Paul Baptist Church. The Rev. Reginald Joseph Sr., will officiate. Burial will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-4:30 p.m., today, Aug. 24, at Rollie Mortuary.
Frazier died Aug. 19, 2009, in New Orleans, La. He was born Aug. 12, 1948, in New Orleans, La.
Frazier graduated from John Marty High School in Jefferson, La. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the National Ass. for the Advancement of colored people (NAACP). He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Mona Frazier of Gallup; sons, Patrick Frazier of Albuquerque, Isaac W. Frazier of Gallup, Michael Frazier of Albuquerque; daughter, Danielle Frazier of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Lawrence Ellis of Metaire, La.; sisters, Theresa Frazier, Ruth Frazier, both of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Frazier was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Isaac Frazier Sr.; sister, Rosemary Frazier.
Pallbearers will be Tony Lilly, Kenneth Ellis, Donald Jones, Phillip MeCale, Aaron Sheridan, Drew Money.
The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
