GALLUP — McKinley County officials said Tuesday that they will be giving residents of Gamerco an early Christmas present — graveling of all of the subdivision’s roads.

County Manager Tom Trujillo said the county will be using some $371,000 in funds that have been secured by Commissioner Dave Dallago and others to use to make the 13 or 14 streets in the Gamerco road system safer. The graveling, he said, will be done by county crews in late October or early November.
