Council reduction vote not so easy

WINDOW ROCK — It appears that setting a date to hold a special election for the initiatives to reduce the Navajo Nation Council and give the president line item veto won’t be a simple matter.

Now that the Navajo Nation Supreme Court has ordered a special election on the two issues, the Navajo Board of Election Supervisors must now grapple with setting a date as well as getting the money to hold the special election.
